Fransa’nın küçük ve şirin kasabası Brantome ’den herkese merhabalar 🙂
Surrounded by the River Dronne, and with five bridges connecting the Mainland, Brantôme didn't get his nickname 'Venice of the Périgord' for nothing. These ancient mediaeval bridges are so beautiful that with the river and the little old town, they create an atmosphere right out of a fairy tale . The monks of the monastery were increasingly disturbed by the noise in the village of Brantôme, so they made and dug up this beautiful channels around the village. Village residents, also wanted the channels for better protection against external dangers. As a result, this cute medieval village was formed. The monastery which gave its back to the green mountains is currently serving in all its glory. Medieval houses of the village have been protected well against time, while the outer edges of the river are surrounded by lush green parks and woods. Brantôme is literally a fairy tale village.

Where to stay in Brantome?
In this quaint little town there are some charming hotels available. But there is one which I've always seen on the most beautiful hotels of the world lists and really deserves its fame. Le Moulin de l'Abbaye must be your top choice here. The hotel which is situated on the best corner of the River Dronne, is an ivy-covered medieval architecture that fascinates us with its mill and Michelin star restaurant. The hotel consists of 3 historic buildings, but the main house with the mill is the most beautiful.
